Does It Make More Sense to Be Self-Reliant or Self-Sufficient?

Just my Opinion BUT homemade laundry detergent takes way too much time and effort! Time is also money ;) It is also more expensive to buy a bunch of crap and then play scientist putting it all together and buying containers for it etc. Been there - Done that. Waste of time and energy. 

You can get laundry detergent pretty cheap if you just look around and you can also buy big bags of powdered laundry detergent to store away for a rainy day. *Put big bags of powdered laundry detergent in plastic bins and store it in a cool dry place.

Additionally, bleach is cheap! It already comes in its own jug and ready to use and easy to store! Always - always be careful when mixing ingredients to make your own bleach or anything else (there's the Mom in me coming out ;).

Anyway... Stay Frugal if times are hard for you but STAY SAFE People.
